When purchasing an electric hoist, it is important to focus on the basic parameters and quality of the electric hoist.
a. Lifting height: As a lifting tool, the electric hoist has strict requirements for the lifting height. Therefore, when purchasing, you should first choose the lifting height based on the height of your factory. The common lifting heights are 6, 9, 12, 18, 24, and 30 meters. Special occasions can be designed according to the user's requirements.
b. Lifting speed: Generally, the lifting speed of an electric hoist is divided into single speed and double speed. In the absence of special requirements, single-speed electric hoists (CD1 type) are often selected. If your working conditions require precise positioning during the lifting of heavy objects, it is better to choose a double-speed electric hoist (MD1 type). Generally, the lifting speed determines your work efficiency. The higher the speed of the electric hoist, the higher your efficiency will be.
c. Motor power: Different electric hoists may use different motors. For example, a 10-ton electric hoist may have a motor power of 13KW or 7.5KW. Customers can choose according to their different needs.
d. Voltage: Electric hoists are used in various industries, so the voltage used by electric hoists may also be different. There are 380V industrial power, 220V household power, and even 440V, 60Hz, 380V, 60Hz, and a series of non-standard power supplies.
As a lifting equipment, safety is the top priority we should consider. Therefore, when purchasing an electric hoist, we must strictly consider the quality of the electric hoist. Generally, the quality of an electric hoist can be judged from the following aspects. Before seeing the goods, that is, during the procurement stage, it is generally necessary to ask about the origin, material, motor model, brand, and price of the electric hoist.
1. For newly installed or reinstalled electric hoists after disassembly and inspection, perform several no-load test runs first. However, do not power on for test runs before the installation is completed.
2. Before normal use, conduct a static load test with 125% of the rated load, lifting about 100 millimeters off the ground for 10 minutes to check if it operates normally.
3. During use, it is strictly prohibited to operate in an environment not permitted, beyond the rated load, or more than the rated number of closures per hour (120 times).
4. Sufficient lubricating oil must be maintained for the electric hoist in use, and the oil should be kept clean without impurities or dirt.
5. When oiling the steel wire rope, use a hard-bristled brush or small wooden pieces. It is strictly forbidden to directly apply oil to the working steel wire rope by hand.
